I like them, and they seem to like me, especially the old ones. I enjoy really roughing up a dog with a good scritch, but beyond that I don’t give them much mind. However if I were a dog person, I think that it would be because I am somehow the patron saint of junk yard dogs. For whatever reason, the dogs that I end up owning or caring for seem to be rescued neglected dogs. The dogs that have that junk yard rep…and that junk yard condition too. I don’t go out to find them, they just seem to find me. <\/p>\n
Enter Hunny. I wasn’t really interested in a pet at this time, I was only keeping her long enough to get her healthy again, then I was taking her to the rescue for adoption. But dag nabit, she went and made herself all likable by reminding me of Sampson, The Best Dog Ever. <\/p>\n
Yukon, the dippy dobe. As stated before, The Best Dog Ever. When he came to me he was 150#, absolutely obese -I got his weight down to a respectable 110#. He liked people and was a very sweet dog. Except should you try to enter the house without being let in by me first.
