Served and captured in the Philippines at Corregidor, POW at Mukden, in Manchuria. Photo was taken after months of being released from POW camp and shortly after returning to the states.  He was forced into slave labor and welding for the Japanese war effort.  Waverly was a six foot tall man, that left POW camp weighing only 97 pounds.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/60141310@N00\/5776420819\/\" title=\"IMG_3769 by banjobear, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5188\/5776420819_0e888fc788.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" alt=\"IMG_3769\"><\/a><br \/>\nAlan Cecil, WWII. Served and captured in the Philippines at Bataan, POW in Japan.
