…trying to regain my composure and gather my thoughts from what is shaping up to be a shitty day, I am listening to my neighbor vacuum his porch and blow the fallen leaves. He vacuums and blows them twice a day, nearly every day it seems.<\/p>\n

They are my fallen leaves and he hates them, but unfortunately my tree over hangs his yard by quite a lot. Over the years the tree has been trimmed in many ways to try and relieve that situation, but it never satisfies, only complete removal would work. That’s where I draw the line. I love walking through the burnt orange crunch of my leaves and I will let them linger on my porch as long as I can.<\/p>\n

My neighbor and I don’t speak any longer; it’s a good old fashion snub-fest between us, it’s been that way for two years now. It wasn’t over leaves specifically, but the dispute really grew from that foundation. I do not share his need to have nature contained flawlessly, nor my house ready for a showing to the Better Homes and Gardens publication. I keep it up enough to fit into the neighborhood, beyond that I’m not interested. <\/p>\n

He disagrees. <\/p>\n

But he did buy a really pricy topless car that he loves to take for nice mountain drives. You know in mother nature. And we all know what a good yard keeper she is.

\nIt strikes me that if he’d just stop freaking out over the leaves, he wouldn’t have to go out of his way to enjoy mother nature.<\/p>\n

Or maybe I’m just feeling a little pissy cause I am having sugar withdrawal. Now that I got to have a nice and quite little rant, maybe I can salvage the rest of my day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
