…we gots it all under control!

\nI have no idea what I am doing most days: my job asked me to start looking into buying cattle for the next season -never done that before, apparently, hay, it was very expensive this last year so not a lot of people produced last year. I have a meet tomorrow in an event that I’ve never competed in, an oly meet in two weeks I haven’t been training for as I should of, and I have to write business email daily. <\/p>\n

All off this and I am still sleeping at night. <\/p>\n

There was a time I’d stay up all night long worrying about every little possible way I could have screwed something up in a simple letter. Forget performing -in any fashion- in front of a group of people. <\/p>\n

When I was in my early twenties I decided to try and get over my performance anxieties and take some banjo lessons. I practically hyperventilated on the way to the lesson, I sweated huge bullets during the entire lesson, I did so for months. My only comfort was the knowledge that my teacher was nearly legally blind so if I didn’t touch him he’d not know. He knew I was terrified but he couldn’t see me sweat <\/p>\n

It’s taken nearly twenty years to get there; but look at me now Ma, no sweating. It’s all good. Just put on some coffee and watch me go.<\/p>\n
