on a rainy day, mountain walk a few weeks ago. Seems like he’s from a different time to me, so I caught him in black and white. If he was a beloved friend to some little kid, I really hope he made it home.

Honestly, I don’t know if this is smoke or some very intense clouds. However, I believe it’s smoke because it was drifting through the sky in an unusual way and coming from the direction of some fires that were taking place, at the time of this photo.

They don’t make the sun and flowers go away, they just make the day a little grey.

Given enough time, even the tenderest shoot will toughen up. Given enough time, tiny roots become solid peaceful pines.

Ever feel twisted, stuck and exposed; wanting to hide away and get yourself composed? Yes!? Me too! I’m so glad you know; I guess that’s just the way it sometimes goes.
