+++Little poem inspired by my sons. +++
…can’t decide.
hide-n-seek or spies?
No. Neither.
Something better!
It’ll be pirates and brigands,
Vikings and Huns.
All manner of noble hoods,
but nothing so prissy as that
goodie two shoes, Robin Hood.
None of that here!
A raiding party will
do just fine.
Inspire a little awe
Inspire a little fear.
Then it’s back for home,
and a frosty cold root beer.
We’ll sit and sip in the shade;
think on what was done.
We took over the world
just because it’d be fun!
And whats more,
we did it all before dinner
and the setting of the sun.
