Some of the best hours of my life have been spent with this woman, getting lost and wandering all the backroads of wherever we were at any given time.
In all these years we haven’t changed.
Our urge to get in a car and start driving, and to keep driving, till we’re lost or wandering all the backroads is so much stronger than the urge to get to the original intended destination. It’s always been worth it; we always find hidden treasures.
I was so glad to have one more chance to do that with her.
