For two weeks in a row I had errands that took me in to town, and both times there were people ice fishing about 10-15 feet off the bank of this lake. Now I know no one will believe me if I just tell them, so this week I leave work early enough to take pictures of these crazy ice fisherman, fishing in the sun.
I think ice fishing is kinda neat, but this is why I think doing it around here makes you kinda crazy. Only one week of mild weather and the ice was undulating with the waves. This is also why I don’t walk on frozen lakes around these parts -well that and it’s pretty hard to find lakes around here, especially frozen ones.
