Training Log: Week 1 Day 2

Row: Was just an easy 500m warm up, I didn’t even keep time cause it was so low effort.

Lifting:
Front Squat
5×45
5×65
5×85
3×105
1×115 (my form fell apart on this one, not horribly but this is the weight were I hit a form weakness, I could feel my back bowing/arching I am never sure the best way to describe it other then I couldn’t keep my shoulders and chest back correctly.

I’m really paying super close attention to my form weaknesses right now, and devising a way to tackle them. This week I am super focused on finding the weight I have my first obvious form break down on.

WOD:
Time – 12:38
Three rounds
1 beginner rope climb
10 Wall Balls
15 Kettlebell Swings
20 Double unders

My plan in the morning was to go to work early and do the WOD in late evening hours. I double checked the WOD before leavign and cringed -It was going to be a tough one to do so late at night by myself. Then I stepped outside and felt the nip and moisture in the air and knew it was going to be a tough joint pain day today. I knew if I didn’t go in and WOD early with people around that I’d blow it off till it didn’t get done or I’d have a hard time keeping myself going and then just drag the time out too long. So I took a detour on my way to work via the gym.

I got my double unders back. I had been unable to do a double under for many months now, I just lost the groove, but I did the entire wod single-single-double today.
